New York Favorites

If you’re going to New York and you’re asking me where you should go, these are my absolute musts.

L’Artusi

I wasn’t a red sauce person a few years ago. This pasta has changed me. It’s so charming in L’Artusi, I’ve never been disappointed. The bucatini is my top pasta of all time.

Buvette

Sometimes you want to sit outside and pretend you’re a famous person. Buvette is the place to do it. They serve the best almond croissant I’ve ever had and a big cappuccino. I must recommend the soft scramble eggs on toast with prosciutto. It is a decadent brunch experience.

Pisellino

Again, incredible people watching. This is my favorite little corner in New York. It’s bustling and just feels special. Best espresso martini of my life.

Tokyo Record Bar

This is a special dining experience. Tucked away under a Champagne bar, Tokyo Record Bar gives you a chance to play your favorite song for the whole restaurant, and brings “surprise me” to a whole new level. Book a reservation a month in advance, or walk in and try to get lucky. You will not regret it.

Lola Taverna

The whipped feta here might be the best dip I’ve ever had. A beautiful restaurant, kind staff, great drinks, and delicious menu. This place holds a special place in my heart.

12 Chairs Cafe

Can it get wild in here? Sure! This is a great pick if you have a larger group, want to split a bunch of wine, and eat the crispiest falafel I’ve ever had.

The ELK

A coffee shop and little market. It’s adorable, but they’re not messing around with their drinks. Best dirty chai in the city I believe. Grab a cup and wander West Village.

Suprema Provisions

Getting a reservation is hard in NYC. This neighborhood spot usually has availability, which is a blessing to us all. The Burrata Carbonara… unbelievable. it is everything I’ve ever wanted a Carbonara to be. Their burger is also amazing - you really can’t go wrong.

Rosecrans

A coffee shop in a florist. It’s a breath of fresh air! Also home to my favorite iced oat milk latte.

La Pecora Bianca

A full menu that has yet to disappoint. Dinner and brunch, this place serves fun energy and even better pasta. Sitting outside with a spritz on a spring day? The ultimate activity.

The Doughnut Project

I was not a doughnut person. This shop convinced me otherwise. The gluten free strawberry is supreme in my mind, but check their Instagram for their speciality flavors.
